I wish life could imitate art.

Once upon a time, when our lives were so much simpler, we imitated art. Our love painted the blank white walls of that room where I first met you. The laughter and passion splashed all over creating a rainbow of lust, longing, and bliss. 

I did not want it to be over, but it did. We finished it, but left it unfinished.

We are an unfinished masterpiece. Tainted and ravaged by the dusty winds of heartbreak. Who was I  to believe in forever? Colors fade just as your love for me faded into the absence of light.
