FASHpiration: BACK-TO-SCHOOL SERIES

Are you new to the whole idea of College? Better read this. Surviving the world is not an easy feat, but surviving college is a very different thing. Better make sure things don’t go wrong or you’ll have the worst 4 years of your life (just kidding). But seriously, college is supposed to be a fun experience, and that’s not going to happen if you don’t find ways to battle through it. This is going to be a series of tips that I’ve learned during my earlier days as a Frosh.  + Outfit ideas to inspire you on your first day!

Tip # 1: MAKE A STATEMENT.  Yes, things will be much easier if you learn to blend in, but life will be so much better if you stand out. Remember, FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE LASTING ONES. Don’t be afraid. Your classmates are probably shaking in their shells as well so don’t show them how terrified you are. Muster up the courage to show everyone what you’re made of, but remember your limits, nobody likes show-offs. There’s a very thin line between MAKING A STATEMENT and MAKING A FOOL OUT OF YOURSELF. College is unexplored territory and there’s nowhere else to go but in, but be careful. Stay true to who you really are, and use that to WOW your classmates and find your true friends!
